Gurgaon resident Jitendra Kumar was in for a rude shock when he received a two-month electricity bill worth Rs 75 crore for his residence, reports ANI.
Jitendra Kumar, Gurgoan Resident tweeted that “75 crore ka to mera toh mera makaan bhi nahi hai.Hum to sadak pe aajayenge”.
A resident of Sector 3-Gurgaon, Kumar’s electricity bill would always fall under the bracket of Rs 5,000-9,000. Infact, he alleged that the cost of his residence is cheaper than the bill.
A clear case of error on the part of the electricty board which has not even rectified the mistake despite Kumar having made innumerable rounds of the electricity board office.
“When I went to the electricity office, they said they will fix it. They asked me to wait outside the office, I waited for two hours in the office and then they said that I will receive the bill,” Kumar told .Source news . TOI.
